onboard at monaco.. Aryton Senna described some laps at Monaco as if he wasnt really driving at all, but just watching it all going on.. I love the way you can hear him finding traction by stabbing the throttle out of the corners.

I've just watched the part two to that video. I cant post it as Senna was my hero and this video finshes up with the Williams crash. My friend Graham was up from that corner with another photographer. They ran down but couldnt see over the barrier and not knowing what had happened they shot their cameras over the top. He later disposed of all the film out of respect. Ayrton Senna was his hero too.
Graham called me a while later.. I was covering a football match..Ipswich v Manchester United, I remember clearly.... the call was pretty upsetting to say the least.

Watching that Donington lap brings back that special day of our own in August last year...... wonder if any of us will ever ride Donington again?
